The racecourse at Chepstow is home to some of the finest racing action in Britain. The Welsh Grand National is hosted there every year as well as regular meetings throughout. The Sloop Inn, Llandogo is the perfect place to stay when visiting the races, offering comfortable accommodation, a choice of menus and sociable drinks over which to discuss the fortunes of the day.

The Sloop Inn is all but a short and direct drive from the racecourse. After a busy day’s racing, you can relax in our lounge or bar, enjoying the selection of food and drink that the pub offers. Early booking is recommended for race days as normally at this time the accommodation quickly fills up.

Should you live within travelling distance of the race course and not require overnight accommodation, you can still keep the atmosphere of the day going if you call in to our bar or lounge and take a sample of our chef’s delights, or relax and sample a drink at the bar.
